College is often regarded as the time and place to try new things, to make mistakes and to meet people who will motivate you to do great things. As a fourth year student in college, I have learned more, laughed more, and experienced more unforgettable moments in the past few years than I can count.
Rice University is a very dynamic place to be, from the work hard, play hard culture of the students to the extremely knowledgeable people that serve as our professors and mentors, inspiration is all around us. All the nights we stayed up until sunrise writing papers and making grand plans for the future to the afternoons we spent filling water balloons in the quad for beer bike, every one of those moments will be part of our collective memory when we think back on college one day. I've stayed up until sunrise in college more than I ever have at any other time in my life, but after all, no one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they got plenty of sleep right?
